Producer, Web/Interactive Designer
Overview:
The Brandywine Conservancy & Museum of Art has a unique dual mission: to present American art and protect the natural environment. This interactive web app was created to introduce museum visitors—many unfamiliar with the Conservancy’s work—to its vital environmental initiatives.
Approach:
Designed for use in kiosks located around the museum, the app focused on two core pillars of the Conservancy’s mission: land preservation and water protection. Complex initiatives were distilled into concise, visually rich sections designed for quick, engaging exploration. The experience concluded with a clear call to action inviting users to sign up for Conservancy emails, allowing for self-selected audience segmentation.
Impact:
The kiosk app became a popular stop for visitors—especially children, as you'll see below—and served as an effective engagement and education tool. It also helped grow the Conservancy’s email list with targeted new signups from museum-goers.
